BUSINESS REAL ESTATE AID (A.I.E) FOR TOURIST ACCOMMODATION: AIE Tourism

Objectives

The Department wishes to offer business real estate aid (AIE) for tourist accommodation. This creation remains conditional on an agreement with the EPCIs, who are solely competent in matters of AIE.

Indeed, the EPCIs must first adopt the aid regulation, then vote on a delegation of competence to the Department for the implementation of this regulation, and finally, the Department validates by a vote, the agreement of the delegation of competence and the regulation.

The EPCI must financially contribute to the final subsidy up to 10% of the eligible expenses.

The draft AIE Tourism regulation aims to provide support to tourist accommodation establishments for the installation of equipment necessary for welcoming cyclists and the deployment of the Accueil Vélo Label in Drôme.

Its objectives are as follows:

– Guarantee a quality welcome for cyclists in tourist accommodation in Drôme,

– Develop cycle tourism and be part of a sustainable tourism approach,

– Deploy the Accueil Vélo Label.

Eligible operations

Works for the creation, modernization or extension of bicycle shelters as well as equipment inseparable from the works (including electrical outlet and water supply), necessary for a quality welcome and for obtaining the Accueil Vélo Label.
