Aid in favor of land sobriety and the limitation of soil artificialization in territorial strategies: planisols

Land sobriety and soil preservation are essential for the sustainable development of territories, allowing for a move towards the goal of zero net artificialization (ZAN). Implementing these ambitions requires a need for knowledge and anticipation at all stages of the project.

The eligible projects presented below are not exhaustive, but must meet the objectives aimed at each stage of the journey (diagnosis, strategy, operation).

Path 1 - Diagnosis

Diagnoses can be part of a more global territorial diagnosis approach carried out by the community as part of the revision of its documents. They will notably allow for a better understanding of the territory regarding the issues of land sobriety and soil preservation and their functions.

Examples of multi-criteria diagnostic studies:

• diagnosis of soil multi-functionality of the territory and the ecological potential of high-stakes areas (territory, EPCI, or municipal scale);
• diagnosis of land resources of the urban envelope in a land sobriety approach – EPCI and municipal scale: urban and peri-urban spaces, economic activity zones (ZAE), tourist zones;
