Improve the environmental performance of products and services following an eco-design diagnosis or a feasibility study

Initiatives to improve the environmental performance of products and services are being rolled out in France, within companies. They contribute to creating an offer that allows differentiation, is more environmentally friendly, and is available to consumers or buyers.

ADEME supports works and investments resulting from a diagnosis and integrated into an eco-design implementation process. Investments must aim at manufacturing an eco-designed product, obtaining a European Ecolabel certified product or service, or improving an environmental display score.

In the food sector, investments in optimizing processing tools, as well as those enabling the marketing of a new range of products under AB (Organic Farming) or HVE-level 3 (High Environmental Value - Level 3) labels, are eligible.

ADEME also supports projects involving disruptive innovation, which will allow the manufacturer to develop a global product/service offer, creating value no longer on the multiplication of sales volumes, but on customer loyalty, through the product's performance in use.

Depending on the nature of the projects and the size of the company, investment aid can reach 15% to 55%.
