Subsidize the purchase of anti-waste equipment

Food waste represents 10 million tons of lost products per year. It leads to unnecessary consumption of energy and water resources, and greenhouse gas emissions that could be avoided. All stages of the food chain are concerned.

You can apply for aid for investments following an increase or redistribution of flows, for collecting foodstuffs diverted from food waste in a program shared among several partners. For example, the following equipment can be supported:

• weighing equipment
• refrigerated trucks
• warehouse acquisitions
• collection platforms
• solidarity canteens
• canning workshop-type processing facilities
• equipment allowing the sharing of foodstuffs between individuals…

After carrying out a diagnosis or a study (except for the particular case of food aid associations), certain equipment enabling the implementation of the project can be supported by ADEME at a rate of up to 55% of the eligible aid base. They are subject to a case-by-case analysis.
