The Territoire d’Énergie Orne is the contracting authority only for public projects where the final applicant is a rural or urban community that remits at least 50% of the TICFE. Enedis remains the contracting authority for urban municipalities that do not remit the TICFE to Te61.

The main objective of extension works is to make the electricity distribution network available for new uses (e.g., housing, economic activity).
