The Occitanie Region acts in favor of renewable energies by supporting projects for automatic biomass energy boiler plants and heat networks.

Context and objectives

Becoming a "Positive Energy Region" requires supporting project owners in making investments in favor of renewable energies, and in particular for automatic biomass energy boiler plant projects. The creation of a heating and cooling network is possible provided that the criteria of the "Regional aid modalities for the development of heating and cooling networks supplied by an ENR&R" scheme are met.
