Objectives
In June 2023, the Department of Drôme adopted a 2023-2028 tourist and residential attractiveness strategy "A Land of Hospitality, a Department by and for its inhabitants".
This regulation aims to support tourism development projects that meet the objectives set in the strategy:
- Reconcile tourist and residential attractiveness, capitalizing on tourist attractions to generate permanent jobs, local animation, and the desire for sustainable settlement,
- Optimize the length of stay and economic benefits in the territory through the creation of high value-added service offers to propose an experience to visitors, especially out of season;
- Develop a territorial identity, known outside Drôme and shared within Drôme, under the banner "Drôme c’est ma Nature" (DCMN) in a complementary way to sub-territorial brands;
- Develop collective work and create synergy from the resources of all actors
- Improve the quality of welcome for our temporary guests.
In accordance with the attractiveness strategy as well as the territory's positioning in line with the values of the DCMN brand, it will be a matter of particularly strengthening 4 support points:
- Full Nature and itinerancy (sustainable tourism)
