Lead projects for the prevention and selective collection of household and similar waste

The competence for planning waste prevention and management was transferred to the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region by the law on the new territorial organization of the Republic, known as NOTRe, of August 7, 2015.

Nevertheless, the Department continues its support in this area under its thematic and cross-cutting competencies.

Thus, the Department's intervention focuses on supporting inter-municipal structures managing household and similar waste in terms of prevention.

The subsidy rate applicable to studies related to the prevention of household and similar waste is 20% of the ex-tax amount.

By derogation from Part I of RU article 6, the subsidy rates, applicable to the ex-tax cost of expenses related to waste prevention, are as follows:

• Communication materials and tools related to waste sorting (posters, guides, sorting point signage, ...): 35%
• Awareness-raising operations for waste reduction including the provision of equipment (educational kits, fight against food waste, pilot operations, ...): 35%.

In addition to the mandatory documents, the grant application file must include:
