The objective of this measure is to structure the regional book and reading territory by supporting a network of reference centers at the regional, national and international levels, whose vocation is notably to complement the cultural action accomplished by the public reading network of libraries and media libraries of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur by:
- promoting the encounter of regional audiences with contemporary creation through dissemination actions and the search for new readers carried out throughout the territory,
- welcoming writers and translators or actors in the book trades in the best professional conditions,
- undertaking professional cooperation and international exchange actions aimed at opening up audiences and professionals in the sector to the world and in particular the Euro-Mediterranean area,
- participating in the development of the regional economy through job creation and the tourist attractiveness of the regional territory.
- Local authorities in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region that have submitted a complete application
- Associations whose registered office is located in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur or having an establishment or a branch in the region, having at least one year of existence and submitting a complete grant application file.
