Erase power grids

Territoire d'énergie Mayenne is the privileged contact for local authorities and individuals for everything concerning gas and electricity networks. On behalf of the communes of the department that own the gas and electricity networks, Territoire d'énergie Mayenne intervenes on the public network for all works guaranteeing the quality of the energy distributed.

Network erasure consists of concealing low-voltage (LV) overhead electrical networks, public lighting, and telecommunications, to make them more discreet. The networks are therefore buried in the ground or installed on facades.

These concealment works contribute to the renewal and securing of networks, as well as to the beautification of city centers. The TE53 ensures the project management of these works initiated by the commune and participates in their financing according to the financial regulations in force.

Financial aid:

• For the erasure of LV lines in rural areas: 75% of the total cost capped at €100,000
• For the erasure of LV lines in a complementary program (beyond €100,000 or outside the selection committee): 40% of the total cost
• For the erasure of telecommunication lines: 20% of the total cost
