Maintenance of communal roads

CALCULATION METHOD

The subsidy rate is determined based on the fiscal potential (of year N-2 – DGF N-1 sheets) per inhabitant of the communes. That of groups of communes results from the ratio: total fiscal potentials of member communes / number of inhabitants of these same communes:

• less than 520 € per inhabitant: 50%
• from 520 € to 830 € per inhabitant: 30%

This rate is applicable to the eligible expenditure excluding tax, capped according to the maintenance cost (set at 0.8309 €/m) and the length of the road (classified on January 1, 2005 – DGF 2006 sheets).
