Measuring road speeds and traffic

Created in 2014, ATD 88, the Vosges Departmental Technical Agency, offers local engineering to elected officials in the Vosges to help them carry out their projects.

In the field of roads, carrying out road counts and speed measurements allows, prior to undertaking work, to define whether the road requires improvements (observation of a problem based on the measurements taken or simple feeling) and to adapt these according to traffic (percentage of heavy goods vehicles and light vehicles) and the speeds practiced...

Measurements are carried out over a period of one week and are subject to the submission of a report with the extraction and analysis of data from these measurements.
