Support for road safety improvements in municipalities and groups of municipalities

Description

The proceeds from police fines related to road traffic are collected by the State and then distributed by the Department, for the benefit of municipalities or their groups of less than 10,000 inhabitants, for the realization of works to improve public transport, road safety and traffic. The Department establishes the list of beneficiaries and the amount of allocations based on the urgency and cost of the operations to be carried out.
