Support for fairs, festivals and events

The initiative is aimed at project leaders of literary events in various forms that are in line with the objectives of the public policy on books and reading of the Ministry of Culture, and in particular with the support for the book economy.

Literary events, and in particular fairs and festivals that contribute to supporting actors in the book economy through the implementation of various actions connecting works and their authors with readers, can benefit from support from the Ministry of Culture.

The criteria assessed to evaluate the application include the involvement of the various actors in the book chain, the establishment in a territory and partnerships with other local structures, the quality of the mediation proposals, the target audiences and the intervention of book professionals; according to the objectives of the Ministry of Culture.
