Support for regional book structures

Regional book structures are organizations (associations, EPCCs, or regional government departments) that contribute to national public policies in favor of books and reading in the territories by fostering cooperation among book chain professionals and by carrying out actions targeting all stakeholders: authors, publishers, booksellers, libraries... but also targeting the public by promoting the development of reading. Privileged interlocutors of the Regional Directorates of Cultural Affairs, they are also subsidized by the regions. The Ministry of Culture can allocate a subsidy to structures working on such projects.
