Indeed, the Aude 2030 territorial pact positions agricultural development as a strong issue for the Aude territory and sets priorities for action in this area. The maintenance and development of the dynamism of the agricultural sector are essential not only economically, both for its production functions and for the downstream sector of the agri-food industries, but also for the life of the department's rural territories. This is why the General Council of Aude traditionally supports agriculture, viticulture, agri-food, and fishing, so that these sectors can adapt to the ever-faster changes in the national, European, and international context. It relies in particular on a strong partnership with the Chambre d'Agriculture de l'Aude for the implementation of the main axes of its departmental strategy.
