Developing agricultural projects in Seine Aval

France · Île-de-France

Who can apply Commune · Intercommunalité / Pays · Département · Région · Etablissement public dont services de l'Etat · Entreprise publique locale (Sem, Spl, SemOp)

The LEADER program, an axis of the EAFRD (European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development) is a European initiative that stands for "Liaisons Entre Actions de Développement de l'Économie Rurale" (Links Between Actions for the Development of the Rural Economy). It was established in Europe in 1991 as part of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and in Ile-de-France and Seine-Aval since 2007. The objective of a LEADER program is to foster structuring agricultural projects in a given territory through networking of people and organizations involved in rural development. This local partnership between the public, private, and civil sectors is called a Local Action Group (LAG). The LEADER approach in a territory means a certain autonomy for the LAG in developing a strategy adapted to the local context. It allows for the support of pilot projects, through grants, whether they are led by public actors, private actors, or associations. The LEADER program in Seine Aval is supported by the Association for Sustainable Agricultural Development in Seine Aval (ADADSA). For the 2014-2020 period, the scope of action covers 66 out of the 73 municipalities of the GPS&O urban community. The allocated budget is €1,382,000.

Cit'ergie is a management and labeling program that rewards local authorities for implementing an ambitious climate-air-energy policy. To meet the challenge of climate change, local authorities have a decisive role to play in defining and implementing actions aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving energy efficiency, reducing air pollution, developing renewable energies, and adapting to climate change. It is now recognized that strong commitment from local authorities in the energy transition is synonymous with economic development, attractiveness, and quality of life for their residents. However, even when motivated to act, local authorities face many questions: How to implement an effective energy policy? What method to follow to conduct and succeed in an ambitious Territorial Climate Air Energy Plan (PCAET)? How to integrate into regional and national air-energy-climate objectives? The European label European Ene…
