Diversify, enhance, and structure a sustainable tourism offer for residents and tourists in the Pays d'Auge
France · FR
Who can apply Commune · Intercommunalité / Pays · Département · Etablissement public dont services de l'Etat · Entreprise publique locale (Sem, Spl, SemOp)
By combining seaside tourism, rural tourism, and a strong cultural identity, the Pays d'Auge benefits from undeniable tourist assets. In addition to contributing to affirming the identity of the Pays d'Auge, tourism creates jobs and is a key pillar of economic development for communities and businesses. However, this tourism dynamism is mainly concentrated in the North Pays d'Auge, around seaside resorts where the influx of tourists sometimes leads to management difficulties. Conversely, the South Pays d'Auge suffers from a certain lack of notoriety, despite the richness of its natural heritage (hedgerows, meadows, etc.) and cultural heritage (architecture, stud farms, gastronomy, etc.). The aim is therefore to strengthen the tourist attractiveness of the hinterland for tourists and residents, through the development of new activities, the networking of local actors, and the enhancement of the existing offer. In order to ensure effective implementation of sustainable tourism and to fully take into account the current and future impacts of tourism on living systems, biodiversity, and cultural integrity, it is also necessary to consider balanced management of natural resources and to involve all local actors. The operations supported under this action sheet n°5 are consistent with 7 objectives of the Norman SRADDET, notably the promotion of sustainable tourism, as well as the findings...
Facilitate daily mobility for all in Pays d'Auge for the benefit of shared transport and active travel modes
France · FR
Who can apply Commune · Intercommunalité / Pays · Département · Etablissement public dont services de l'Etat · Entreprise publique locale (Sem, Spl, SemOp)
The rural and multipolar nature of the Pays d'Auge territory leads to a strong dependence of inhabitants on cars. While the ecological crisis requires reducing dependence on carbon-based energies, the energy crisis exacerbates situations of energy poverty, exclusion, and forced isolation of households. In order to address the challenges of climate change mitigation by improving mobility options and strengthening the centrality functions of medium-sized towns and structuring villages in the territory in the sense of the SRADDET and the recommendations of the GIEC Normand, it is necessary to engage Pays d'Auge in a sustainable and inclusive mobility approach by providing mobility alternatives and developing new adapted and accessible means of transport for all audiences. This involves giving public and private actors all the necessary tools to build an effective and coherent mobility policy throughout the Pays d'Auge territory by targeting all levels of mobility (municipalities, EPCI, etc.) and all shared and sustainable mobility modes. Objectives of the aid: Facilitate daily mobility, by reducing individual car use and encouraging the use of shared transport and active travel modes Offer inclusive mobility throughout the Pays d'Auge territory…
Ensuring the quality and accessibility of local services throughout the Pays d'Auge territory
France · FR
Who can apply Commune · Intercommunalité / Pays · Département · Etablissement public dont services de l'Etat · Entreprise publique locale (Sem, Spl, SemOp)
The aging population, the exodus of young people, and the massive influx of new households (couples with or without children) in the Pays d'Auge are giving rise to new needs that require adapting services and facilities. To support socio-demographic changes, make the service offer a vector for territorial balance and equality for residents in the sense of the objectives pursued in the SRADDET, this action sheet n°3 of the local strategy of the Pays d'Auge emphasizes the quality of life of residents, maintaining local ties, and developing social and generational diversity. It is therefore necessary to develop, throughout the territory, a quality service offer accessible to all. The effects of climate change on health and inequalities in access to care described in the summaries of the Norman IPCC make actions in the health sector essential. It is also in the areas of early childhood and the inclusion of elderly people and/or people with disabilities that the needs are most pressing and require strong support. Objectives of the aid: Improve coordination and cooperation between local actors contributing to the development of local services Guarantee social cohesion and maintain local ties Strengthen the quality and diversity of services…
