Get help for Research, Development or Innovation (RDI) projects

France · FR

Who can apply Commune · Intercommunalité / Pays · Département · Etablissement public dont services de l'Etat · Entreprise publique locale (Sem, Spl, SemOp)

Do you have a project to advance research in support of the energy and environmental transition? Our system can help you. It is aimed at research organizations, businesses, associations and potential partners of an R&D project. ADEME finances RDI projects that are directly submitted to it outside calls for projects, insofar as the research targeted by these projects does not cover scientific fronts falling under competitive calls for projects proposed by ADEME or other research funders (find the majority of calls for research projects in France ). The eligibility of your projects, outside competitive calls for projects, is judged on a case-by-case basis. ADEME's objectives are to qualify their relevance with regard to the research and innovation priorities included in its RD 2021-2027 strategy, and to ensure the scientific quality of the proposal in order to evaluate the financial aid that could be provided. Please contact ADEME before submitting any application.

Implementing an energy master plan

France · FR

Who can apply Commune · Intercommunalité / Pays · Département · Etablissement public dont services de l'Etat · Entreprise publique locale (Sem, Spl, SemOp)

Local authorities are key players in achieving energy transition objectives . They are at the heart of the transition process through their decisions concerning energy, but also planning, urban development, mobility, waste and water management, all intimately linked themes. Their actions must notably be based on relevant and informed energy choices , to develop a low-carbon local energy mix . These choices must take into account the potential for renewable energy development as well as scenarios for the evolution of different uses present in the territories. The Energy Master Plan is an essential tool for coordinating these actions, targeting energy production, consumption and distribution.

The objective of this financial support is to help you mobilize more heat and/or cold from renewable and recovery energy production . The amount of your aid is calculated based on an economic analysis or on a flat-rate aid. This depends on the power of the installation to which your network is, or will be, connected. Some criteria must be met to benefit from the aid: Your network provides public heat distribution services (the community is the organizing authority). Your heat network exists in the fiscal sense , with at least two clients distinct from the project owner. Your technical network distributes only heat . Projects must be connected to physical renewable and recovery energy production units using biomass, solar thermal, geothermal, methanization, waste heat recovery (from industrial processes, household waste incineration units, etc.) and/or cogeneration. ADEME's network aid applies exclusively to the "distribution" function . It is conditional on the technical characteristics of the planned network implementation: additional production share of renewable and recovery energy energy density…
