Be supported in carrying out a territorial feasibility study with a view to creating, extending or modernizing a waste sorting center

France · FR

Who can apply Commune · Intercommunalité / Pays · Département · Etablissement public dont services de l'Etat · Entreprise publique locale (Sem, Spl, SemOp)

Industrial sorting is often an essential step in preparing waste from separate collection for material or energy recovery. To this end, three laws commit the community to ambitious objectives: the energy transition for green growth law (LTECV); the anti-waste law; and the circular economy law on reuse and recycling. To meet these objectives, ADEME supports local authorities or private actors carrying out projects for waste sorting and preparation centers and waste collection centers for professionals. Feasibility or territorial studies prior to investments can be supported up to 80% of eligible expenses.

Request assistance to finance your preliminary feasibility study for reuse-reutilization and repair (excluding packaging)

France · FR

Who can apply Commune · Intercommunalité / Pays · Département · Etablissement public dont services de l'Etat · Entreprise publique locale (Sem, Spl, SemOp)

ADEME can support all structures involved in the circular economy, in the financing of a territorial diagnosis or study prior to a reuse-reutilization and repair (RRR) investment . The aid rate can reach 80% of the study cost. Reuse-reutilization and repair activities extend the lifespan of products and contribute to reducing resource consumption and waste production: More than one million tons of products are reused or reutilized each year. The number of structures specialized in the second life of products is constantly increasing . The measures planned and objectives set in the anti-waste law for a circular economy encourage the development of these activities. They require consumer information on reparability and suitability for reuse or reutilization. To support these policies, ADEME supports territorial diagnoses and feasibility studies contributing to increasing and encouraging the supply and demand for reused and repaired flows.

Be supported in financing a study and actions prior to deciding to commit to a methanization project

France · FR

Who can apply Commune · Intercommunalité / Pays · Département · Etablissement public dont services de l'Etat · Entreprise publique locale (Sem, Spl, SemOp)

To verify the feasibility of your project, ADEME helps you to carry out a diagnostic study or a feasibility study , by providing you with several model specifications and by providing financial aid. Methanization - a process of biological digestion of organic matter in the absence of oxygen producing biogas and digestate - allows the treatment of organic waste and its return to the soil, the production of renewable energy and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The biogas produced can then be recovered and sold in different forms (heat, electricity, injection into the natural gas network, vehicle fuel). For about ten years, France has chosen to promote the development of a methanization sector mainly based on the local treatment of livestock effluents, biowaste, crop by-products and unrecovered waste.

Fund your energy audit to highlight solutions for reducing energy consumption in your greenhouses

France · FR

Who can apply Commune · Intercommunalité / Pays · Département · Etablissement public dont services de l'Etat · Entreprise publique locale (Sem, Spl, SemOp)

Faced with the climate challenge and the volatility of fossil fuel prices, controlling energy and considering the substitution of residual fossil fuel consumption with renewable energy have become strategic, particularly with the help of energy audits and feasibility studies. Their analyses are valuable for agricultural structures. The energy audit thus provides concrete elements for action in the short and medium term: Assessing energy consumption. Recommending the most effective and profitable actions to reduce energy consumption. Prioritizing actions based on return on investment and ease of implementation. This approach can lead to up to 50% savings on a site. The complementary study of energy solutions allows to identify the renewable energy source best suited to the needs of your site and to validate the relevance of an investment in one of these solutions to substitute your residual fossil fuel consumption. ADEME covers the costs of your energy audit up to 80% for a small business. The aid is granted...

Request funding for studies to reduce the environmental impacts of products/diets and implement corresponding projects

France · FR

Who can apply Commune · Intercommunalité / Pays · Département · Etablissement public dont services de l'Etat · Entreprise publique locale (Sem, Spl, SemOp)

Food has significant impacts on water, soil and air quality, GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions, water consumption, but also on biodiversity and deforestation. Most of these impacts occur at the agricultural production stage, which can be optimized, as can other stages of the food chain (logistics, transport, processing, packaging, distribution, consumption). Demand (diets, types of products consumed) has a significant effect on the impacts of all upstream actors. A diagnostic or support study makes it possible to assess the current state of the system and to determine the feasibility of an alternative solution . In this evolving field, a study also makes it possible to meet the needs for acquiring or deepening knowledge of food systems (impact studies, socio-economic issues related to sustainable food, positive or negative externalities, characterization of practices, costs, etc.). ADEME can help you finance this study with a grant covering up to 80% of its cost.
